Kevin Martinson
Kevin
Martinson is the Head Girls Track Coach at Castleberry High School. He is also
an assistant Football Coach.
Coach
Martinson played four sports in high school in Amery, Wisconsin: Football,
basketball, track and baseball. During that time, he was part of a state
championship track team. He went on to run track for 2 years at Concordia
College in Moorhead, Minnesota, highlighted by qualifying for the conference
championship meet in triple jump.
Coach
Martinson has a Bachelors degree from Concordia College in Physical and Health
Education, as well as a Masters in Educational Administration from Texas
A&M University. He has over 15 years of experience teaching and
coaching. He has coached football, basketball, and track in Forth Worth
ISD, Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD, Birdville ISD, and Northwest ISD, including
the honor of being named Middle School Coach of the year in Northwest ISD in
2021.

Martinson is married to his beautiful wife, Meghan, and they have three
daughters; Mackenzie, Ellie, and Landry. He enjoys traveling with his
family and watching/attending sporting events…especially Aggie football and
baseball.

Martinson’s coaching philosophy is centered around a commitment to building
athletes that succeed through dedication, integrity, and toughness. Win
everyday is the mantra that Coach Martinson wants to instill in every athlete
