Zach Taylor
Zach Taylor is the Offensive
Coordinator for Football, as well as coaches Freshman Boys Basketball at Castleberry High School.
Coach Taylor played high
school football, basketball and baseball at Lufkin High School where he was 2-time
All-District honoree in football and 1-time All-District member in Baseball.
Coach Taylor played 1 season
of football at Stephen F. Austin State University before transferring to UTSA
to finish his academics. He graduated from UTSA with his Bachelor’s in
Kinesiology.
His coaching career started at Haltom High School, where he spent his first 4 years. In his last season at Haltom, the team went 13-1 and finished as Regional Finalists. Coach Taylor has been at Castleberry for over five years.
Coach Taylor is married to his
wife, Gemma, and they have 1 dog and 1 cat. His goal for this upcoming year is
to be as competitive as possible and prepare our athletes to make some noise in
the playoffs.
