Leo Vasquez

Coach Vasquez is the Head Girls Soccer coach at Castleberry High School.

Coach Vasquez started playing soccer at the youth level in West Texas. He continued his youth and club playing experience with Fort Worth Youth Soccer and the Classic Boys Club League of North Texas. Coach Vasquez was a multi-year letterman at Arlington Heights High School, and continued his club soccer playing career at UT Arlington.

Coach Vasquez has experience coaching at the semi-pro, collegiate, club, and high school levels. He holds a Professional C Coaching License from the United States Soccer Federation, a United Soccer Coaches Director of Coaching certification, and an NIAAA Registered Athletic Administrator diploma. Coach Vasquez loves spending time with his wife and two little girls. His family loves to hike, travel, and spend time together riding bikes and playing at the park. Coach Vasquez is excited that his oldest daughter will begin youth soccer this fall. During the past few years the family loved going to support the Lady Lions Soccer team of CHS, and is now very excited to come cheer on Dad and the team! Coach Vasquez is a strong believer in the power of sports to change and mold youth players into amazing adults. Sports helps students build character, shows them how to work as a team, and how to communicate effectively. The most important goal this year is to help student-athletes build confidence and gain self-respect.
