Sarah Cruddas
Sarah Cruddas was newly named the Girls Athletic Coordinator at Castleberry High School in May of 2024. She is also the Head Softball Coach and an Assistant Volleyball Coach. Coach Cruddas went to Central Texas College and took nursing courses before following her heart back to the world of sports and teaching. She transferred to Tarleton State University and received her Bachelor's degree. While in college, Cruddas helped coach a 12U softball team that traveled all across Texas.
Coach Cruddas taught and coached at Harker Heights High School in Central Texas for her first 10 years of her educational career. She spent 6 of those years assisting with swim, volleyball, and softball. Her last 4 years were as the Head Softball coach. She also has spent time assisting with softball, volleyball, tennis, and cross country at Copperas Cove High School.
Coach Cruddas grew up in Killeen, Texas. She has two dogs, Coal and Graham Warren. She loves to spend time with her family and friends. In her time off, she enjoys live music and anything that makes her laugh.
Coach Cruddas is extremely excited to be at Castleberry. She is looking forward to growing athletes in all the ways that sports can by educating kids on and off the field to build strong characteristics.
