Juan Silva
Juan Silva is the Head Football and Track Coach at Castleberry High School, as well as the Boys Coordinator.
Coach
Silva graduated from the University of North Texas with a Business Degree and
received his Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University. He
has been coaching for more than 25 years. He has been an
assistant and head coach in baseball and football. Coach Silva has
numerous accomplishments and recognitions including:
- 10 Time District Champion
- 18 Time Bi-District Finalist
- 8 Time Regional Finalist
- 3 Time State Finalist
- 3 Football State

- 1 Track State
Championship
Coach Silva and his wife, Rachel, have four
children: Chandler, Matthew, AJ, and Candis. Coach Silva
stays busy with all things sports and especially enjoys going to live events
and concerts.
Coach Silva believes in educating each child to reach academic and athletic success. Student-athletes are held to high expectations and are expected to practice and compete at their optimum level every day. They are given support in multiple areas including academics, character development, skill acquisition, and mental toughness. Coach Silva’s goal for the program is for the student-athletes to take lessons learned in athletics and use them to grow into responsible, kind, well-rounded young adults.
